Tulum Travel Guide: I arrived to Tulum expecting to stay for a two week vacation but ended up leaving a week early. I thought it be as beautiful as you see in pictures online, crystal waters and all.. The reality is that in Tulum there’s a huge seaweed crisis at the beach right now. The amount of seaweed that keeps coming onto shore is insane. Other then that big negative, I ended up having a great time and I would return.
Cancun Travel Guide: Left Tulum since we wanted to go in the ocean, and Cancun was the way to go, the water was beautiful there.
is the hotel I choose and I enjoyed it. It’s very small and laid back.
• I am quite used to having AC, and not having it in this heat was a bit of a struggle. We did have a fan which helped for when I went to bed. I don’t think it’s much of an issue not having AC if you’re going to be out all day at the beach anyways.
• This property works with Hotel Dos Ceibas Eco Resort another beach hotel right across from Casa Coyote. When you want to go to the beach you can use their location and sunbeds for no additional cost.
• Casa Coyote also did offer breakfast which is always a plus. You had two options to choose from.
• This hotel did have a small rooftop pool which does get very hot. But (TIP)downstairs there’s another pool that’s covered by palm trees so I ended up using that pool.
